Travelodge, Broxden

One of several Travelodge hotels designed by Camerons.  Its prominent location on the Broxden Roundabout on the A9 atPerthprovides fine views to the distant southern highlands.  Cost restrictions still allowed imaginative use of cedar cladding render and artificial stone, which together with mono-pitched roofs raises the bar for budget hotels.

The 88 double bedrooms are arranged on 3 floors, along with a restaurant at ground floor.

Project value £3m.

Our other Travelodge projects include a 32 double bedroom extension to the existing hotel at Dreghorn Link inEdinburgh, a new 30 double bedroom hotel at Todd Hills on the M6 in Cumbria, and a new 48 double bedroom hotel at Bucksburn, Aberdeen.
