Foulden Parish Hall

The existing Parish Hall in Foulden had become dilapidated and structurally unsound, such that extension and refurbishment of the existing building was determined an uneconomic option.

Informed by an in-depth study into current and projected usage, a new replacement fit-for-purpose Hall has been provided on the same site,  with multi-purpose accommodation suitable for all anticipated community meetings and activities, now with adequate storage, suitable access, and proper kitchen and toilet facilities.

We assisted the Hall Committee in preparing various successful grant applications, including the largest Community Fund grant awarded (at the time) for a new hall in the Scottish Borders, of £300,000.

Contract value £346,000.
